The main parts of  the device are the burner, kiln, control unit and power supply cabinet. The coating process incorporates a nano particle generator and direct deposition apparatus. In the burner gaseous and atomized liquid raw materials combust in an oxy-hydrogen flame. Vapours formed in the combustion condensate into nanosize particles. A conveyer moves a substrate through the process area, when the substrate is coated with the nanoparticles. The particles can also be gathered for further processing.

The nanoparticle generator produces particles typically in the range of 10 to 100 nm. The equipment is capable to process various compositions of nanoparticles. Typically they consist of metal oxides. The produced nanoparticles are directly deposited on a hot substrate surface thus providing the substrate with the desired coating and thereto related properties.
