Liquid helium cooled (continuous flow) optical cryostat

Preparation of solid samples by condensing matrix gas onto cold substrate
Matrix isolation

Allows optical detection of  low temperature solid samples
Equipped with a  high vacuum system, a gas handling system, and a temperature controller

Optical windows allow detection from vacuum UV to infrared
Operating temperature 2 – 80 K (up to room temperature)
