The high performance gas chromatograph with sensitive mass selective detection:

  • quadrupole mass spectrometer
  • electron (EI) and chemical ionization (CI)
  • spectrum library (NIST 2002)
  • maximum oven temperature 450 °C
  • two split and splitless injectors
  • automated sample injection unit

GC/MS is used in identification of unknown materials and quantitation of organic chemicals, analysis of chemicals in air, water, soil and polymers.

Pyrolysis-GC/MS is used in identification of unknown materials, polymers, additives and harmful chemicals and analysis of multi-layered polymers.

Thermal desorption-GC/MS is used identification and quantitation of volatile organic compound (VOCs) in air and solids when sample is extremely small.

Purge&Trap-GC/MS is used in quantitation of volatile organic coumpund (VOCs) in water and soil samples and polymeric materials when detection limits are small.

Headspace-GC/MS is used on identification (screening) of volatile compound of materials, polymers, quantitation of polymer additives and residual solvents.

There are following sample treatment equipment connected to GC/MS: pyrolysator, static headspace, purge&trap and thermal desorper.
